George Crane is a Lord of the Tonne, as well as the older biological brother of Phillip Anderson.
History
George is the older son out of the union between Thomas and Betty Crane. He doesn't remeber much of his mother, as she's died when he was just a baby. However, he remembers how his father was not the best of men and certainly not the most sincere.
Once he found out about his brother's existence and that he might still be alive, George decided to search for him. When his father found out his plans, he got mad and they had a fist fight, where Thomas ended up being so hurt he died because of its healing complications, but no one knows what started it, the servants lying that it was a buggler to protect the heir, as he was far more loved than his father inside that house.
One of their oldest footmen told him everything that happened to his brother, including his name, but he couldn't tell him where he left the boy as he had no memories, the only clue was the herbs... That could be found in all of England.
Additionaly, George fell deeply in love with Marina Thompson, and they had a months-long affair before she had to go to London to be part of the marriage mart. Still exchanging letters, George still promised her that he would come back to have her hand in marriage.
Personality
George is a step up from his father. While Thomas was hated, ignored and feared, George is adored, praised and loved. He was not the best of men, he knew he wasn't as his actions spoke for him. But he was happy enough with the thought of being someone decent enough.
George's lover and romantic interest. They met when they were young, but it was only recently that their story blossomed into love, and one they weren't willing to give up on.
FAMILIAL
Thomas Crane — Former Lord Crane
George's father. They weren't close, even though Thomas showed some appreciation for him as his heir. However, when George decided to search for his lost brother, his father's hostility became evident. So much so that it led to Thomas' death.
